Summer Single “Another Saturday Night”

Gerry Guthrie is back with another hit song for the summer of 2023.
After the success of Gerry’s 2022 album and his recent single releases, “The Doghouse” and “The Mermaid”, Gerry has been back in the studio and he has come up with another cracker.

Written and made famous by the legendary soul singer Sam Cooke (Twistin’ the Night Away & You Send Me), “Another Saturday Night” has received the “Gerry Guthrie” treatment and transformed the song into what is sure to be a floor filler for Gerry and his band as they tour the dancehalls and festivals of Ireland this Summer.

“Another Saturday Night” features what has become Gerry’s signature sound, with leanings towards the Tex Mex sounds of The Mavericks & The Texas Tornados.

Gerry has a busy Summer schedule ahead and is set to appear at many of the top festivals in Ireland including Headfest, The South Galway Bay Music Festival and he will take to the main stage at the
world famous Clonmany Street Festival later in the season.
